What are the best ways to lose stomach fat?

I have a fat stomach and wish to get rid of it. I’ve tried a number of diet methods and some have reduced my body weight but have not had the reduction to my stomach that I’d like. Can anyone give any tips on the best ways to lose stomach fat.

Hi. Thought I’d let you know that i had the same problem. I thought diet and working the main muscle groups around the area was the way to go. It wasn’t working and started looking for an answer for some good ways to lose stomach fat on the web I came across a site http://fat-blob.info which gave me an insight into the problem and started me on the road to conquering the issue.
Amongst the methods there were these tips for starters reduce sodium intake, drink more cold water, drink less alcohol and eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables plus the obligatory healthy exercise plan.

    Targetted weight reduction is quite difficult, many people would say impossible, nevertheless I lost a couple of inches from my waistline by following the instruction on the site in the box below. Give it a try, their advice is very down to earth!

    There is no ‘best’ way. There is only one way which are few are willing to do, which explain that only few look good :P

    First of all, get in the habit of saying ‘fat weight’, not ‘weight’ There are different weights in the body but only losing ‘fat weight’ will make you look slim and give you a flat/six-pack stomach. Losing anything else like muscle or water weight does nothing.

    Second, always remember this rule:
    You only lose ‘fat weight’ when you ‘burn’ more than you ‘eat’, that’s all. That is the only condition the body will ever go near your body fat. Why wouldn’t it? If the body gets what it needs from excess food then as might as well leave the fat for a rainy day :P

    Third, diet alone doesn’t burn any weight, it only makes it smaller and lighter. That why your body looks smaller but the fat areas are still there. And the worst part is, when you eat normal again your fat areas will go back to their normal weight and size in a very short time.

    Forth, the only way to burn body fat is to do 3 things:
    1) Diet: Eat less than you burn.
    2) Cardio: The ‘burn’ part. The only way to burn fat from all over (ever seen a man with a six-pack and man-boobs :P ? You don’t get to pick). Nothing else works, nothing else will ever work.
    3) Weight training: Cardio likes to burn inactive muscle more than fat (it’s easier). That’s why most ppl who only do cardio alone turn into skinny-fats. Skinny arms and legs but big guts and thighs. To stop cardio from burning muscle and only burn pure body fat, you do weight lifting. You got 6 muscle groups + abs. Training one muscle group a week is enough to keep it safe from cardio for the whole week.

    There, now you know the secret to losing body/stomach fat. It’s not a secret but it seems no one ever heard of it :P Kinda explain why a lot are failing because rarely anyone does all 3.
