i was wondering if just eating less alone can make u lose stomach fat. anything helps, thanks!
It depends. My mother was anorexic for seven years and my sister was anorexic for only two. The difference was that my mother lost weight a lot easier by avoiding food than my sister, who had to work harder to loose belly fat.
My point is that it differs from person to person. Are you just interested in loosing a bit of belly fat? Then I’d advise against it. It would come right back.

It really depends.
If you want to lose stomach fat, and you already have a good amount of muscle on your body, then yes, it would be relatively easy to just eat well and lose weight. However, if you do not have an average amount of muscle on you, then it will be nearly impossible to get the fat off.
Exercise not only burns calories, but also builds muscle. That new muscle will use significant amounts of calories just at rest, without physical exertion; when that happens, aided by proper diet, your body will use the fat stored around the stomach area to burn for energy to feed your new muscles.
