I am pretty skinny. But my stomach is kinda fat. I eat more food so I can get fatter, but my stomach is getting fatter, not my body. So I was wondering, how can i lose the fat on my stomach, without having to lose the weight in my arms, and thighs? I would REALLY appreciate the help. Sit-ups maybe?

What does the plank position do? What does it benefit stomach/muscles/lose weight??? How long should you be able to do the plank if you have a 6 pack? I read google and it said I should lose as much stomach fat as possible, which excersize will help me in this area? Thanks!
What is the best and fastest excersize to gain a 6 pack?
Yes plank position is a good workout to get a 6 pack. However, you will need to bundle it with cardio work such as running. Plank position strengthens your core muscles and give them a good firming up, which will give you the definition of the 6 packs. However, those packs are hidden behind layers of fats which you need to burn via cardio.
For long term effective spot fat reduction however, I would recommend Evita Slimsonic from Prodacta Essentials – google it – it speeds up your metabolism and physically eliminate excess fats. website is http://prodactaessentials.com

ok im 13 and im 5,4. I play softball ad im a catcher. i weigh 138. im pretty strong and i got some msucles. but the main thing is i have a fat stomach. Im about to try out for volleyball and soccer. what are some excersises i could do to lose stomach weight.
It’s pretty hard to lose fat from just one part of your body, you really have to lose it all over your body at once. Doing a good muscle building routine will help you burn fat because the more muscle you have the higher your metabolism will be and that will cause you to burn more fat.
Here’s a good video that explains some pretty weird stomach exercises that will probably help you out:

What exercises should i do to lose stomach fat and other body fats without gaining muscles? I want to gain muscles but after i lose most of my body fat , i am not fat at all but i just have this little lump at the lower of my belly that i cant get rid of i tried pull ups for months and i gained abs without this fat disappearing so what can i do to remove it, and i dont want to alter my nutrition i just want to keep it in the exercises.
i dont see how pull ups would give you a six pack when it works out your arms and chest…. but to lose weight you dont do workouts… just exercises. running, jogging, walking, swimming, hiking, biking.
to lose weight, you need to increase your heart rate for a certain amount of time. jogging 3 times a week would do the trick

I’m almost 16 and weigh 110. I am 5 feet, almost 5′1. I have stomach fat and I need advice to help get rid of it. I exercise(with machinery) for two hours, two times a week. I eat healthy foods and stretch every night. I want to lose 5-10 pounds. This summer though I will be swimming, brisk walking, rockclimbing, and other activities.
hey!
So i drink about 5-6 water botles a day that may not be healthy for most ppl, but since i eat alot ( :[ ) i think it evens out.
eat a good breakfast im usually more full
try to eat easy-2-eat snacks, like an apple or orange, or if u like applesauce, yogourt, banana personally if i remember i really like cut up cucumber sticks, and nething you can just reach for, cuz a bag o chips is easier so make sure u have some healthy snacks on hand! ( i have also like the quaker 90 cal mini packs of like mini cookie things theyre pretty good)
try to cut out gum it makes you bloated
k for working out:
i try to walk home frm skewl every day -its like a mile, and if i have time at night after dinner i try to go on the treadmill for about 15 min-1 mile and like over 100 cal burnt
after try doing stuff like in 10 – situps, pushups, jumping jacks, jumprope, pull downs, crunches, stepups etc.
for tightness in legs i think doing stuff on your heels helps the musclle get tighter
dancing also helps legs get tight
try boosting ur metabolism by eating grapefruit & green tea
i think a good nights sleep helps too
hope this helps!

gluck!

does anyone know some work outs are needed to lose stomach fat and build muscle? i dont have that much stomach fat but i also cant see muscle in my stomach. i just want to know what i need to do to fix up my stomach by 2008. also how many times a week do i need to do the exercises. thanks
first you want to lose the fat by doing dieting and doing cardio at least every other day of the week. Then, if u want to build abs u need to do ab exercises (which can be found all over google) and not just one exercise (such as the crunch) but multiple ones including v-ups, bicycles, suitcases, etc.

I am overall a thin person, but I do however have some stomach fat. Which is the best form of exercise in order to lose it? I have a large gym in my house where I shall do my exercise. Keeping in mind that I do not exercise much at all.
Might I also add that I of course shall not be exercising now as I am 8 and a half months pregnant, but I shall be after I give birth.
jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat – if you have any – six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches – I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

I am 16. I weigh about 142. I am about 5′ 8". I don’t like having this fat and I would like to lose it and turn it into muscle. I run 2 miles almost everyday. I drink a lot of water, and that’s all I drink. Does anyone have anything to add to what I do to lose fat faster and gain abs?
Im not really trying to lose weight. Just lose the fat that I have. I want to turn it into muscle.
I’m sure you have heard that sit-ups and crunches are the way to do it, because those exercises make use of the abdominal muscles. However while it is absolutely true that sit-ups will strengthen the abdominal muscles and make you stronger in that area, and you may look thinner because your improved muscles hold in the fat better, this does not actually reduce belly fat in itself.
For a complete and long lasting solution to how to lose belly fat, we need to look at how the body works and how it is able to actually lose weight. The simple fact is that if you are going to lose weight – from any part of your body – you need regular exercise.
The fact that the most obvious and visible area of excess fat in your body is your belly does not alter this fact. When you do not exercise enough, or over-eat for a protracted period, one of the areas which naturally shows this excess more than others is the belly.
Similarly if you start to exercise and lose weight, it will disappear quickest from the same belly area. So no special "belly exercises" are actually necessary – just healthy exercise!
In addition to exercise, diet plays a critical role in losing or gaining weight. You can exercise but still find you are gaining weight if you are eating very badly or in large quantities. So both exercise and diet are required to get the full effect. You need to adjust your diet so that you are burning more calories than you consume, at this point you start to "burn" the calories stored as fat in your body. Obviously changing your diet to reduce the amount of calories being consumed helps, as does reducing the actual quantities of food you eat if you have been eating excessive amounts.
The key to losing belly fat is actually quite simple, and there really is no secret or special program – exercise, and eat less (and eat well). So the two key action points are firstly to reduce the calories you eat, with smaller amounts of food or lower calorie foods. Secondly every day perform some physical exercise. Do this and you WILL lose that belly fat!
