I know that in order to lose stomach fat you must lose total body fat and in order to do so you must have a healthy diet and do cardio. I’m willing to change my diet and I know the obvious things such as not eating candy and junk food but I don’t know all the things I should be removing, limiting, or adding to my diet. Can anyone give me some food/meal options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? As well as acceptable snacks?
I read an article written by a leading cardiologist in New York and he said that in order to lose the stomach fat you must walk 24 -7 and it should be for at least an hour per day.He also said you can break it up into 30 min or 15 min each session.Jogging is hard on the joints.To effectively lose weight you should eat at least 1500 calories per day.Drink plenty of water.You should chose from fresh fruits and vegetables,whole grains and cereals,broiled or boiled chicken,turkey,fish.It is best to eat smaller meals more frequently because a large meal will make the body deliver more insulin,there by making you hungry quicker.Small regular meals keeps your blood sugar constant and also your metabolic rate which is important in burning calories.If you want to increase muscle mass and decrease body fat when you need to do isometric exercises like weight lifting.Some samples: Breakfast whole grain cereal,fruit,fruit,juice,whole grain toast,bagels with low fat cream cheese,english muffins,boiled or poached eggs or scrambled eggs in small amount of margarine.(benacol is the most heart healthy) whole wheat muffin. Lunch: chef salad with veggies,turkey,low fat dressing,tuna salad with relish,low fat mayo,egg,onion on whole wheat bread.egg salad with low fat mayo,whole wheat sandwhichs with deli turkey or ham,tomato soup Dinner: broiled chicken,baked fish, turkey breast.(season with Ms Dash,garlic powder,lemon pepper)You can fry your fish and chicken as long as you count the calories in the flour and oil,baked potato with low fat sour cream,tbsp chili beans,margarine,chives,fresh or steamed veggies,try a variety of colors with your veggies.Eat fruit for snacks,yougurt,dried fruits,low fat pudding,jello.Just count your calories.As with any diet or exercise program check with your doc first.Hope this helps you get started.P.S. if you feel weak on a particular day and are craving something horrendous then go ahead and indulge just count it into your daily caloric intake.To deny yourself will encourage diet failure and binge eating.

Ok so im getting ready for summer..that is coming VERY quickly…and wanted to lose my stomach fat…im already doing 200 sit-ups every night but i wanted to know if there is anything that i can do to help me lose fat from that area faster..if anybody has any suggestions i would really appreciate it..Thank you SO much!
Oh and a workout for lovehandles too please..
how do you breath through your stomach?
Sit ups do not help lose tummy fat, i’ve done Research because i want to lose my tummy fat, sit ups tones + strengthens muscles under the fat (so the internet says). I’d say to start running, i found doing cardio helps get rid of tummy fat…
+ like sucking in your stomach, apparently helps?

I know running is a good exercise to lose weight but I wanted to lose stomach fat and thigh fat so for the stomach, running on the spot and for the thighs, running up and down the stairs. I don’t really like running outside so should I do this or just go outside?
running burns fat from everywhere, not just the legs. You cant target fat loss to just a certain area. Spot reduction is a myth.
But your diet is the key to fat loss, eat less and healthier along with the jogging.

IF you have a little bit of stomach fat, how long will it take to lose? If you eat healthy, run for 2 hours 3 times a week, do like yoga and stretching, and about 300-500 crunches a day, how long do you think. Also, is that doing all the right thigs?? Thanks P.S., I am a teenage girl

What’s the quickest way to lose stomach fat in 2 weeks AND!!! HOW MUCH OF IT will be gone via your method suggested.
Here’s an excellent way to lose weight. And no you won’t gain it back, trust me. On average people only gain a couple of pounds back by eating healthy afterwards.
You have probably heard that not eating is bad for you, but it can be very healthy too. And you don’t have to workout to do this, unless you want to.
I know people who have went on water fasts for up to 30 days and were very healthy afterwards and were fine the entire way through. People tell you that it slows down your metabolism, well yes. But what other reason do they give that it’s bad? When you get done doing it, the first couple of days only drink juice, water, and soup. Then move to whole foods. I’ve heard of people losing 20 pounds in 14 days and they were exactly my height and weight(5′8 153 lbs). But you have to drink purified water everyday and at least 6 glasses of it. You will not become anorexic as some people will say, as long as you stop before you get too skinny. And don’t go straight to food when you get done, that’s why I said juice and soup first because your body will reject the food.

its winter, and so its really cold, so i cant really get out there and exercise, but im lifting weights, but i want to lose fat, what are some good exercise or other ways to lose stomach fat in a small room?
do 20 curlups every night before you go to bed,
and do 40 ‘jumpin jack’ things, and run in place for 1 minute
do it every night and it will seriously make a difference

What are the best exercises to lose belly/stomach fat quickly?
There is NO THING like spot weight reduction. If you take care of your diet and exercise regularly , you loose weight all over. And as a principle when you gain weight it shows easily and primarily on stomach (and thighs, butts) so when you loose weight you will first feel the difference in stomach (and thighs, butts). Your clothes will be easier fit from stomach.
Do cardio and abs. Sit ups dont reduce stomach fat but tone up the muscles.

I’m actually not a fat person at all, I’m 15 pounds and I’m around 125 pounds. But I have alot of stomach fat? How do I lose it? If you have any suggestions from the gym great, because I got a membership at a gym. If you have any good food suggestions thats great too!
cardio is what you want to do to get rid of the fat, weights to build the muscle.
eat clean food, no processed shit. get lots of protein into you. drrink water instead of juice or soda.
get a personal trainer to write you a program

Hey, i have a sic pack, but it is covered by a layer of fat. I can feel my hard abs under the fat. I was just wondering how can i lose the stomach fat and reveal my six pack. What should i eat? What exercises should i do? And how long do you think it will take to get rid of the stomach fat?

Food:
Stay away from white grains like pasta, bread, flour, and rice. When eating grains go for whole wheat, it’s a lot healthier and has fewer calories. When eating meat, always go for lean or extra lean if available. Also stay away from junk food – of course! But, don’t demonize it, because if you are the type who loves their chocolate bars and you completely cut yourself off, you’ll only want them more. Cut down you junk intake to once a week, and on the day you have that chocolate bar make a mental note to get an extra 15 minutes of exercise that day.
Make sure you drink lots of water; it helps your metabolism and hydrates your body (obviously). If you don’t drink enough water your body will think its going to be starved, and will go into “survival mode” – this’ll cause your body to retain all the water you do drink and all the fat it can get because its preparing to be starved. Also, drinking green tea every morning increases your daily metabolism by 17%. You can take vitamin b complex to increase your metabolism as well. Try eating 5 small meals a day to keep your metabolism working, and never skip breakfast! Skipping breakfast will slow your metabolism for the day!
When you snack only snack on fruits and veggies – they’re nutritious and delicious! And low in calories. My doctor recommended eating a slice of cheese with a piece of fruit as a snack so your also getting protein with your fruit. Try to stop eating after 7 pm, and only drink tea, milk, or water after that. This’ll prevent you from going to bed with food in your stomach that won’t be burned while you’re sleeping; it’ll just get turned into fat that you don’t want.
Exercise:
For exercise, make sure you get AT LEAST 30 minutes a day, but I’d recommend 60 minutes. Do cardio exercise every day as well as strength exercises like push ups and crunches. Combining the two exercises will help to prevent having saggy skin once you’ve lost weight. Swimming can be a good strength exercise if you like going to the pool or lake – it tones everything at once and its fun! While you’re doing cardio (like jogging or running) make a routine that’ll challenge you but not over work you. Try running for 5 minutes then walking for 5. If that gets too easy try running for 6 walking for 4 etc.

I eat a nutritous but not always healthy meal everyday but I seem to be gaining the weight and stomach fight rather than lose it. I went through high school with people asking me when i was going to have my baby when to this day I have never slept with anyone. So how do I lose the weight and stomach fat without dieting and steal eat what my mom cooks?
If you are not willing to diet, you need to be getting plenty of cardio exercise. You cannot target weight loss in one area of the body–it will be all over. Also, if you stress a lot, it produces cortisol, which allows more fat to be stored particularly in the stomach area. Also, enjoy what your mother is cooking, just eat a little bit less of it.
